Stairlift Installation in Bradford & McKean County, PA
Bradford was built in the oil-boom days, and the houses show it — tall, narrow, two-story homes with long, steep staircases that were fine at thirty and less fine at seventy. We do a lot of work up here, and for good reason: when the stairs stop working for you, a stairlift keeps the whole house in play. Sunrise Stairlifts is based in Kane, PA — just down the road — with over 20 years of experience behind every install. No call centers, no commissioned sales reps.
Call or text our Main Office at (878) 287-2877 for a free in-home evaluation.
What We Do in Bradford
- Straight stairlifts. For staircases that run straight from one floor to the next with no turns or landings. The simplest setup — and the most affordable.
- Curved stairlifts. For stairs with a turn, a landing, or anything in between. The rail is custom-built to follow your exact staircase — we measure, the rail gets made for your home, and we install it.
- Outdoor stairlifts. For porch steps, deck stairs, and garage entries. Weather-sealed for Pennsylvania winters — and Bradford winters are no joke.
- Service and repair. Beeping lift, stuck mid-rail, remote stopped working, batteries due — we service any brand, including lifts we didn’t install. If your lift was put in by someone else and they’ve gone quiet, call us.
- Free in-home evaluations. We come out, measure, look at the stairs, and tell you straight what fits and what it costs. No pressure, no obligation.
Made for North-Central PA Winters
The Bruno stairlifts we install run on rechargeable batteries that charge continuously — so your lift keeps working even when the power goes out in a January storm. Outdoor models are weather-sealed for the freeze-thaw cycle, and every rail mounts to the stair treads (not the wall), so there’s no structural work on your home and no big footprint left behind if the lift is ever removed.
We also handle home-modification jobs through funding programs and take care of the quotes, documentation, and coordination those programs require. Wondering whether insurance pays? Usually not — but there are real exceptions: Does Insurance Cover Stair Lifts?
Why People in Bradford Call Us
- Owner-operated. One company, one owner, start to finish. The person answering the phone is the person showing up.
- We’re nearby. Based in Kane — close enough to show up fast when something needs service.
- We service what we sell. Installation isn’t the end of the relationship — we’re the ones you call when something beeps at 9 PM.
- Straight answers on price. A real number after the free evaluation, not a “starting at” teaser that doubles on install day.
