About Sunrise Stairlifts
Sunrise Stairlifts grew out of a family that’s been in accessible home equipment since 1999. Our owner, Andy, started helping out in the family business long before it was official and came on full time in 2004. Stairlifts and home access are the work this family knows — it’s what we’ve done, day in and day out, for over two decades.
Between us, we bring over 20 years of hands-on experience to every job — measuring staircases, installing lifts, and coming back years later to service them. That experience runs across the industry: running a branch office in Erie, and time with one of the biggest names in home mobility. Those years taught us a lot about how this work should be done — and just as much about where the big companies fall short.
That’s why Sunrise Stairlifts was founded in 2024: a company where the people who show up at your door are the people accountable to you — not a call center, not a subcontractor you’ve never met. Experience taught us that the sale is the easy part. The trust comes after: answering the phone, showing up on time, and standing behind the lift long after the check clears.
It’s a family operation, and we’re proud of that. Between our Kane-area team and our Pittsburgh-area team, we’ve got Western Pennsylvania covered from two directions — and the whole family is in this together.
We sell and install Bruno stairlifts — straight, outdoor, and custom curved models — plus EZ-ACCESS wheelchair ramps. And here’s something worth knowing: we service any brand. If your lift came from somebody else and that somebody else won’t return your calls, call us. We’ll take care of it.
We also handle home-modification jobs through funding programs, helping people who need assistance with the cost of staying safe in their homes. A stairlift can be the difference between living on the first floor and living in your whole home — we’ve seen that change someone’s life more times than we can count.
Our philosophy is simple: the team that measures your stairs is the team that installs your lift. No handoffs to strangers, no surprises. Free in-home evaluations, honest advice — if your staircase doesn’t need a lift, we’ll tell you that too. We live here. We work here.
